My customers often ask me for recommendations as part of my job, so I was enthused by this theme of “groove.” The word doesn’t have a definite definition. It’s more like something you feel, and so I felt I had a lot of latitude in making my choices.
While I’ve basically hand-picked recordings from my favorite genres of soul and hip-hop, given this opportunity I tried to choose a variety of music from other genres by decade from the stock at disk Union’s various stores.
